Monday morning Brent and I roll into the office a little red eyed and sluggish from over indulgence on the weekend. This is not a regular occurrence- we are professionals!
We give the nod for our life source of coffee from Lu Lu’s Mullumbimby and prepare for our day. After some general whining ,we come around to the idea of quitting alcohol for 1 month. After all it is Christmas soon and it cant be that hard can it?
Will we loose weight? Will we be more productive and solve worldly issues? Sleep like babies and awake refreshed? Save money and afford avocado on toast? Will we be happier without our beloved bottle to curl up with at the end of the day? Would we suddenly become better looking?!! Oh and how does one cope without social lubricants?
With some conviction we decide October 16th- November 16th will be Alcohol free and we invite you to sustain with us!
We believe it will be good for all of our health for the reasons listed bellow, but really….we just don’t want to go through the pain alone.
