NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

At Mullumbimby Chiropractic we have always put greater emphasis on clinical findings rather than MRI findings.

In recent study’s the correlation between and pain and MRI results are again,  proof of our on going methods.

Brent Verco during his time practicing within the Byron Shire has, has time and time again found that clinical findings are a more reliable source for diagnosis.

The YouTube Video by The journal of Bone & Joint Surgery explains this in further simplified detail.

ACL reconstructions are on the rise up 70%.  200,000 of these operations have been preformed since 2000-2015.

In a recent controlled study over a five year period, it was found that there was no difference in the rehabilitated knee in comparison to the ACL reconstructed knee.

This encourages further rehabilitation treatment and methods over invasive surgery.

  • Netball
  • AFL & Rugby
  • Soccer

Is this preventable?

Yes,with strengthening the muscle around the knee and regular agility programs focusing on the body movement.
